The finished product!  I painted out the box and sconce in a black and white crackle.  I also painted chalkboard paint on the box and added button embellishments.  I wired up the knives and put them through holes I drilled in the sconce.  I then screwed the box securely to the sconce.  Finally, I painted and decoupaged the clothespins with old book pages. Then, I decorated with an old bird book page, some moss and the lovely birds lakelover69 sent me.  Whew!
As a reminder, here is what I started with

Well it took 4 days (I've decided that I am not a fan of having to wait on paint to dry!)  but I finally finished my junk swap project.  I'm happy how it turned out. I think this would also be cute holding cookbooks with recipe cards clipped on or plants in the box with seed packets clipped on or as a mail inbox with stamps and out mail clipped to the knives.

Thanks again lakelover69 for all the goodies!!  This swap was a lot of fun!
