One of my vinnettes. The picture is a reproduction of an original his grandpa had on his wall.
another corner. I was a caregiver for a wonderful couple. When they passed away, their family gave me this old radio cabinent. The flowers are fake, an arrangement with that powder that hardens to look like water, Tom Thumb cash register,20.00 ebay, and a new jack in the box for 2.00 at my local thrift store.
found this beauty at the thrift store. Talked them down to 10.00! potatoes and onions go in the red basket, the top has an old wire basket that holds my pan lids (the ones hanging from the sled on the ceiling)
my bedroom is tiny. The neighbor was moving out and throwing away this comforter and shams. I rescued them along with the tiny red bike in my front yard. I LOVE RED! Im not sure what the white shelf was used for originally.
this is a built in dresser. I took the ugly brown doors off of it, painted it white, added a curtain and tiebacks red and white ginham. All the curtains on the bed (4 poster), window and closet were free old linen tablecloths I found when the dry cleaners here in town had a clean out sale.

Pictures of my bedroom. Always grab lots of patriotic items right after the fourth of July. I did this room with one can of Kiltz one coverage paint, bunting flags, the rescued comforter, and anthing I had lying around was painted in red white and blue!
