BEFORE: A small side table base I believe...

Ok I got lots of great stuff from my Junk Swap partner, JunkinLindsey. I almost went into system overload... so I went with the largest piece.. this table base.. it had great patina... Lindsey suggested a dressform as she knew I love collecting them.... I was going that route until I saw this tree in it one morning.... so I scrapped my plans and came up with this... voila.. What do you think?

pofolksdecorator1 writes: Way too kool. I love it. I want to make one. I live in a little town in the middle of nowhere, so summer garage sales, ebay, and alley shopping are my own outlets. I saw one of these, I think it was too big, I will keep looking if you don't mind me copying it. Its really beautiful! Annie Posted: 2:54 pm on April 8th
JunkArchitect writes: Ang, what a fantastic makeover! I think most people would have kept it as some type of table base but you took a chance and it paid off…great job.

JunkinLindsey writes: Holy Moly I love what you did with this. Yes, it found a MUCH better home!! And so THAT's how you bling! I am not a bling-er, but you have definitely inspired me to give it a shot, and I am looking at things differently when I go junkin based on your style and our conversations. I cannot wait to see what you do with the rest of the junk I sent. And I'll be posting soon, I have lots of projects in the works!!! Love the twine at the bottom... :) Posted: 3:18 pm on March 29th
