My treasures from Frippery!
A closer look at a few of the goodies!
A doorknob, some vintage wallpaper, and a beautiful silver candlestick base turned into a hat stand for a little boys hat from an era long ago.
Birds love junk too!   A sifter and silver chafing dish lid combine to make a pretty cool abode.   Throw in ventilation from the sifter screen and a just the right size door...and theres a whole lot of potential Ill be having a new family move into my garden this spring!
For this project, I chose the back of an old watch and some text from old book pages that Frippery sent.    I combined them with an old photo (just the eye), an empty typewriter key, a sterling binocular charm, and a frosted glass teardrop bead to make a necklace with a statement to make.

My treasures from Frippery!

Opening the box I received from my junk partner, Frippery was like looking into my very own soul...what kindred spirits we are!   I'm sharing a few items I've put together so far...but there's more to come!   That darling discarded doll is just waiting to have loving hands convert her into something notable!  The challenge of creating something from the items Frippery sent me has been a delight!

Frippery writes: Wow, you really did some wonderful things with the "junk". Love the necklace. Stacking the silver base with the wallpaper roll and doorknob is brilliant! The bird house is great as well. Never would have thought of that. Posted: 10:24 am on March 24th
