This pine pantry cupboard was made from salvaged cratewood. Next to it are the pieces of what will become an oak harvest table.

Once again I saw a cupboard in crate wood that was too nice to burn and this is the result. The door panels and back are leftover Wainscott scraps from last summers kitchen remodel and I used antique brasshinges and glass pulls on the doors.

Next to to the cupboard are the pieces of my next project, an oak harvest table from salvaged table legs and oak boards, that were once stall divders in an old barn. I've already cleaned up 4 and glued them together for the table top, I'll post the finished table when it's done. Any ideas on a finish, I've considered painted legs with a natural top, not sure how that would look or on color, any suggestions?

bluebucket writes: Beautiful work. I refinished a harvest table a few years ago. I painted the apron and legs a country blue and just oiled the table top to leave the natural wood. I love it; so that is my suggestion. Looking forward to seeing your finished table.
