A window of opportunity/organization

This window can multi-task!
A chalkboard and a window for display...
A piece of plywood was placed in this spot, and I gave it a couple coats of chalkboard paint (I LOVE chalkboard paint).
I left this window open for display, and using a suction cup hook, I hung a cute little piece of artwork that my daughter, Kristen, did in grade school (an artist from way back!!!).
A Scrabble letter rack was painted and attached to hold chalk and the word of the day relax...
Just to the left I attached a handle to hold junk.
A magnet board and bulletin board...
A piece of sheet metal was cut (by my husband), and secured with a board behind it to make it sturdy.  I attached magnets to Scrabble letters, buttons, and an old earring.
I put a double layer of corkboard (because there was still a window in this pane), so tacks would hold securely.  I hot glued Scrabble letters to thumbtacks - just for fun!  (And, I had to hang a clock face too - just because...)
Just to the right, an old coat hook holds a bottle for some spring blooms.
Metal hooks keep keys and other important (or decorative) hanging things handy!
An old wooden architectural detail and a couple rusty keys are the perfect finishing touches!
This window can multi-task!

We're getting ready for a show in April (Artiscape in Columbus, Ohio), and I thought I'd use another window for some fun organization...and we all know getting organized isn't always that much fun!

This could be used for household organization, or in an office, craft room...etc.  I reinforced two of the panes on the back for sturdiness (sheet metal and chalkboard sections).  The open window could be used to show off children's artwork, photos, postcards, or even fabric attached to the backside.

Windows open up a whole world of opportunities for reuse!  So...guess you could say this is my "window of opportunity"!!  :)

What's not to Love. Wasn't on board in 2010, so this is new to me. It's got it ALL.
