This stack of faces certainly brought a smile to mine. I adore the use of the vintage glasses. Makes these metal people look well schooled!
Take a look at the eyelashes. I would die to have these long and lush lovelies! Quite the creative use for old forks.
A different version of the coffee pot people. He changed up the base n this two-headed coffee pot person.
Okay, admit it! This family makes you smile...right? They all look like a chip off the same block. These faces crafted from metal pans and other junk accessories would look teriffic in a kitchen.
Paint brushes and bow ties. Now there is a combo you don't see every day! These handsome dudes are my favorites.
Here's a big mouth bass for you! All of his scales were recovered off the street. Yep, you heard me right. He cleans trash from the streets and makes it into his own personal brand of junk art.
This flying fish has a little help with take off. His old trike tires will see him safely down the runway.

I was fortunate enough to run across this ultmate recycler of junk during my travels and found what he did to be very quirky, fun, and inspiring. Take a look at some of his works of art and I'm sure they will put a smile upon your face! You can find Steve and his partner Sarah Haugh at craft shows across the country or at S.D. Meadows Folk Art Gallery, 217 South Main Street, Palestine, Illinois 62451.

They remind me of my "junk chick" that I did on an old piece of wood - and of course your wooden-faced cowboy, Bart!! Maybe long lost relatives??? LOL :)

This is one creative couple. I would never come up with the art they've created. Thanks for sharing, once again another creative way to use a lot of junk and inspiring us to use things in different ways than their intended uses. Posted: 9:50 pm on October 14th
