vintage kitchen / dining chairs dated on bottom 1966, in pretty rough shape, but solid and good candidates for a makeover.  Thats the original upholstery that I found under three layers of other fabric, including a bedsheet!!
with fresh coats of a beautiful birds nest blue, and a white-wall accent, plus new springy fabric
one chair, a little different angle.  I love how these turned out.

found these old chairs at a local thrift store, they had good bones and I figured I could give them a second chance at life :)  They are currently for sale in my booth, at least I think they are still there ;)

rachelrivniker writes: The chaires are great. Well done, I really liked the old original upholstry, and I LOVE the color. I just finished a similar project with my newly married daughter. We remade 6 chairs which we found on a garbage pile, and gave her the perfect dinning room for her first appartment. Posted: 1:54 pm on March 14th
