ArachnibotMarch 1st, 2010 in member junk
My youngest daughter (12) had to build a model of an arachnid for science and asked if she could build a robot arachnid. My only suggestions for this one were the copper toilet tank float (abdomen) and the means of fastening the legs. All other choices of materials, connections, and display were hers. She drilled, ground, cut, etc.
Ikea led lights = eyes; vintage typewriter strikers = legs; Jell-o molds = thorax; slotted spoon = wings; toggle switch = stinger.
