All the Pretty Junk

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and this beholder thinks this is definitely a beauty!
(whispering) Lets zoom in to see how the rustic industrial junk lives in its natural habitat.
The big silver thing up front is an old automatic timer found at an antique shop.  The other items are pieces I love to look at and put on display for the whole world to see!  (Well, maybe just my family and friends...including members of JMS).
Ive had this vintage ice bucket for many years now.  Not only does it add great style to parties, it also adds shiny bling to my shelf display when not in use.
Mason jars with zinc lids come in handy in the dining room.  Ive added all kinds of doodads inside them and they still look great.
You like my $0.99 African Violet?
By the way, I found this shelf by the roadside.  The howeowner even helped me load it into my van!
This shelf is the perfect spot to store my favorite vases.  I love the vintage green one shown.
This vintage military loaf pan works hard in this room.  Each section is fantastic for holding dining room necessities like candles, their holders, cloth napkins, etc.
Remember my sack art piece?  Well, it seemed to fit much better in this room.  Movable junk is always a good thing.
Call me a clutter bug if you will, but I think my junk is pretty organized.

My dining room is slowly being transformed from a traditionally decorated room to one with more of a rustic industrial feel.  I've shared a shelving unit here so you can see where I'm going with it.

junktiqueboutique writes: WOW, what a beautiful display. I have most of the stuff you have including the ice bucket. It just doesn't look as attractive in cardboard boxes. But now I have a plan thanks to these beautiful photos. Posted: 5:09 pm on February 27th
