A neat tea light holder was the result of disassembly and finding new uses for the left over parts. A few crystals snazz it up!
The candle stick candle holder before disassembly. Luckily was hollow.
The lamp shade- a planter I found in the thrift shop.

I drilled a hole on the bottom of the planter for a lamp shade adapter, attached said adaptor, and decided it would look better if I drilled a series of holes around it. And I think it does! Makes a great little lamp for my desk in the mess room, helps me see the bills when I pay them (downside).

RobJ98167 writes: The Base really is a candlestick! LOL I was in the thrift store and looked at the candle holder and started disassembling it in the store(of course they are use to me doing this)Anyway, with a few alterations it became a lamp base! Posted: 6:07 pm on February 26th
ninnarae writes: The holes add a great accent to the shade! I want to know what the base is, too! Posted: 4:37 pm on February 26th
fellowjunker writes: Well...I've got another "thing" for lamps made from junk and this is absolutely fabulous. I am wondering, as well as Kenda, if your lamp was a candlestick to begin with? And, if so, how on earth did you turn a candlestick into a lamp?
Love your posts Rob!
