Some of the fun things we got on our visit to our daughter. This was a bunch of doorknobs and hardware. I have so many doorknobs now Im begining to feel like the crazy Aunt Clara on the old Bewitched series who used to collect them. My husband finally said I think we have enough.
These were old flash cards in French. Ive never seen them before and thought they would be good for some fun projects.
Some Ironstone pitchers and a nice tin that I liked that Im sure was sold as a biscuit container and then repurposed as lunch pail for the kids or for moms stuff.
I liked this stamp pad holder because I had never seen one like this. I have a round one, but I thought this would make a good project for something. I just dont know what yet.
An old advertising rack that worked great for some of my Nancy Drew books, a neat different fishing bucket and a 1912 Acme Jr. ice cream maker.

Going to visit our daughters is always a fun adventure for us along the way. There is not too many antique stores we pass up. If we do its usually 5:00 o'clock or we are antiqued out if thats possible. My hubby (who collects old toys and gas and oil) found a great toy airplane and some signs. Besides this stuff I found some things that my husband and I are going to repurpose for our daughters wedding. One fun project I would like to post now, but can't because it's a surprise for our daughter.

Lucky you to have a husband that enjoys the shops too!
Thanks for sharing.

54girl writes: Thanks everyone! This was a good junk finding trip for me. Yes, Laurel the unpacking is just as much fun as loading it up. My husband and I call it Christmas time because a person forgets what you've bought and its a surprise when we are unwrapping everything. Our motto is if you can still see out the back of the window of the car on the way home it wasn't a successful trip. Mary Posted: 10:57 pm on February 25th

RustyDiva writes: Wow again! You scored big! I'm going through a "white dish" phase and am gobbling up every piece I find so I love the ironstone pitchers you found. Everything is awesome and I'll bet you were on such an adrenaline high. It's hard to come down after a haul like that. Congrats. Posted: 11:13 am on February 25th

Thanks for sharing your treasures - can't wait to see what you do with them!
