MARGARITA GLASS OR GARDEN ART?

This is not breaking news by now... but the South is covered in snow! So exciting!! When I ventured out to take some pictures of my snow covered yard, I thought this garden totem looked more like a salted rim glass than the bird feeder it was intended to be. Thought my junking buddies would enjoy my large Margarita...ummmm...totem.
Snow is beginning to melt, but the ice on the rim is hanging in there.
Hoosier vases on the top and bottom; in between ruffled dessert type plates and a wonderful plastic leopard patterned goblet. Most, wonderful finds from the Macon Historical Societies annual yard sale. I long for this sale each year, and for the first time, this year they had a leftovers sale with everything half priced...WoooHooo!

What a wonderful gift...snow in Middle Georgia and the entire South! What a blessing and joy!

artteachergirl writes: Thanks Karen! Water does collect in the top, and the birds drink from it. I place the bird seed in the little plate in the totem. The seeds get washed off more than they just sit there in the water...birds do not leave the seeds on the dish very long anyway. Thanks! Posted: 9:10 pm on March 8th
KAJUNK writes: Love you totem. does water collect in the cup with the bird seed? I always wanted to make some but thought they would get the birdseed wet. Thanks Karen Posted: 7:07 pm on March 8th
