Here is my first project done! Couldnt wait to try one of the shoe forms out as a lamp base. I used an old spool as the the lamp post and recycled parts from an old lamp to wire it.
here it is with the light on!
Shoe forms dated 1959! Ive already started a project with one of them which I will post when its done! Best part is - they were only 2 bucks!
I found this beautiful fabric sample book which will become an instant quilt! Price: 2$!
Shoe forms, old  double bread pan, beads...If wed had more room, I would have bought so much more...Next time Ill take my truck! they had furniture, wood, metal, glass, mirrors, frames, paper, paint...It was amazing!

If anyone out there lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, there is a great place to check out called SCRAPS. It stands for Scroungers Center for Reusable Art Parts and they have  everything imaginable with continually changing inventory! AND - it's very inexpensive!! OK.. it's CHEAP! There! I said it!

I have a really small shoe form. My mama said it was once used for baby shoes...could it be a night light? Sorry, just kidding, but now I want to do more with it than just let it decorate the shelf...I'll think on it and y'all give some ideas. Posted: 7:25 pm on February 13th
