Found a rusty lunch box/pail at an estate sale.
Painted it shabby chic.
Added some vintage beads, yarn and charms……

+Valentines from the 1940’s

+Old file folders cut and distress to fit pail.

=Adorable Memory Box

4x6 photos fit in perfectly.
Even has little holes to put a little lock through to keep your memories and/or secrets safe!!!

So what started as a rusty piece of junk now just might hold some very cherished memories!!!

My friend made me a similar, but much smaller one then this.  It sits on my nighstand.  I cherish it to this day.  She bought all of her supplies from a craft store, a small metal container, card stock, beads, etc.  This one is cooler though because it is larger and you don't have to crop any of the photos.  You photos stand in there so nicely.  It is Valentines Day Week.  I had to use some of my vintage valentines in storage.  This project has endless possibilites.  Can you imagine what you could do with this for Christmas?  Or a new baby???  This particular project was made with no frills inside.  You could do so much more decorating & frills!!!
