Made a box out of 1x6 boards with a panel back. Used a old 4 paned window painted with a crackle coat. Attached to box with old hinges. Added a screedoor handle for opening.
Made from an old electrical insulator with a bed spring for a body.  We used a Christmas ball for a head and a croched dolie for her wings.
This is a photo of Lindseys grandma printed on cardstock then embroidered onto a block made out of old fabric inherited from grandma.

Photo: OUR OWN

This is one of our first projects. We had no idea how it would turn out but are very pleased.

We display many of our projects at the Black Hills Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Rapid City, South Dakota.
