Funky Matchbook Sandwich

Six matchbooks fit perfectly between two 4.5 inch tiles...
The tile was utilitarian white...found enough stamps to cover the top...its not really meant to be a tribute to Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr...I just liked the color of these stamps... 
I added feet using some leftover cabinet knobs..and good old Gorilla Glue

This idea came from a book in Urban Outfitters...I perused the store's book table while waiting for my daughter to try on clothes...don't remember the title but it was filled with recyling and repurposing projects.....I said to myself...hmmm, I could do that...
