My first hanger purchase and thats what started me on my quest for hangers!  Love the colors in this one!
This is some sort of pants thing-y ~ I have no idea how it was used ~ anyone know?  Anywho, its the perfect place for my little guy!
The hook on this one is really pretty ~ I cannot believe Im saying that about a HANGER!?@?@?  You squeeze the middle to open the sides for your pants/skirts.  I love it!
This large one over my backdoor is really cool and I have no idea again what or how it was used.  the birds are plastic clothespins.  This was a steal at 50 cents and the guy laughed at me because I was so happy!
Thought Id share these little duck or bird clothespins ~ someone said they were for diapers and that the strings were used to tie them to the clothesline?!  Again, I have no idea but I love these too!  It doesnt take much to make me happy!

I have a hang-up about hangers!  My collection is small (so far) but I love searching for them at the garage sales/ thrift stores.  I am almost sure no one else is there looking for them!  My laundry room was the perfect place to showcase them ~ it's decorated because you have to go thru there to get to the garage and the powder room so why not make it look nice?

I laughed out loud when I saw the pants thingy. I picked one up just the other day and it is in my to do pile. I have no idea how it worked, but if I figure it out I'll let you know. Thanks for the great post.

EmmasNookandGranny writes: Great collection! As I recall, the two ducks were used to hold a crib blanket in place. They were tied to the rails of the crib, one on each side, then clipped to the quilt to keep baby covered up. Posted: 11:32 pm on January 17th
