These are in my basement storage room. They hold my snowman collection.
My sewing room is home to these suitcases. They hold patterns, old greeting cards, lace, notions etc.
This stack of suitcases is in my bedroom. They store some of my Christmas items as well as part of my Santa collection.
You are not seeing double. This is a different stack of suitcases in my bedroom. They hold my kids school work, my award ribbons, Easter decorations, etc.
These are other suitcases that are around the house holding such things as gift bags, fabric, patterns, doilies etc., etc.

Actually, if I wanted to use these for travelling, I'd have a lot of unpacking of "stuff" before I could pack to travel. I just can't pass up buying suitcases, especially if they are blue or white. And then I started buying brown and green ones for my basement. The last set of three that I bought were at an auction sale and when the auctioner got down to a dollar, I just couldn't not buy them. There wasn't enough room to post ALL of my suitcases. I know there's one at my wrapping station, two in my cedar chest with Xmas, oh and one holding all my craft books, oh and one . . . . . . . .

Do I have too many suitcases, or too much "stuff", or both?

Lezlee, thanks for your humorous comment.

Judi, I febreze the heck out of the insides of the suitcases, sometimes two or three times and always stick a scented sachet inside. Some people remove the lining and replace it but I haven't needed to do that yet.

Larry, how do you know I don't have pianos or war planes? (I don't but I do have quite a collection of dressers that are overrunning the house; oh and old tables.)

Prior writes: Yes, I hate to tell you, but YES, you do indeed have too many suit cases. You need to immediatly send most all of them to the person leaving this comment, so you might have a chance of being cured of a severe "case" of suitcase overload. Remember, I am here to help with your recovery. LOVE THEM ALL! Lezlee Posted: 6:51 pm on January 14th
upyourattic writes: Never too many! I, too am a collector but I limit myself to white and green only, altho now that I think about it, I do own a red! Oops!

My entire stack of white holds the grandboys toys - all their little army men, hot wheels, transformers, and a huge Lego collection. I love that they can play and I can close them up and have a neat display and no one would ever know of the chaos inside!

Never, ever think you have to much - of anything!

54girl writes: I thought I had a lot of suitcases for storage. Never mind. What a great collection!!! I have a small white one like ours and would love to have more white ones. I have the blue ones and brown stripes ones plus a neat black hat one. They are fun! I had really nice set that I got at an auction last year but I sold the set at Oronoco. That was tough to do. Because no you can not have to many!! Mary Posted: 2:15 pm on January 14th

These look so great...really nice and a much stronger way to store things without the boxes collapsing. Nice job!

Second - WOW! You have an amazing collection, and you've put them all to work so efficiently - so that's a perfect combination!!

I love the white ones. Thanks for sharing your collection!!!

itsnotjunk2me writes: doreen, Your collection is awesome! I acquired several suitcases this past summer & fall and will be putting them to use in my craft studio to hold various items. My daughter has a short stack in her bedroom to hold excess items. These are great storage solutions! btw...how do you get the old smell out of the interior? (I would love to use them for fabric but fear the smell will transfer to the cloth.) Love how you added the old school tags for identification of contents. Thanks for sharing! ~judi ;) Posted: 4:11 am on January 14th
