A Christmas gift for my bff and her family included this little ditty.  I found it in the markdown aisle at my local HomeGoods store and could see its potential.  A bit of my favorite black paint, kraft paper, Modge podge, vintage sheet music of 2 of her fav songs and Gorilla wood glue (great stuff!).

itsnotjunk2me writes: Thank you everyone! I must say that this site has provided such inspiration (from THE best of the best) and encouragement to help find a niche in the creative "junk" world. I look at junk with a whole new perspective now and I'm lovin' it! ~judi ;) Posted: 9:29 am on January 15th

chippingcharm writes: This is great...it inspires me to look through my garage sale bins...some of that stuff could be re-made into something with a little more "junk style". Thanks :) Laurel Posted: 3:40 pm on January 13th
JunqueMagnet writes: Great idea. Sometimes it is hard to remember how much potential there is in the new stuff at Tj Maxx, Home Goods, etc. Posted: 1:11 pm on January 13th
RustyDiva writes: After seeing all the sheet music being used on this site, I finally found some at the thrift store and when I excitedly tried to pay for it, I was told I had to buy the piano to go with it. Needless to say I left empty handed. :(

Love this redo and I think it's so much better than the original store version. What a great thoughtful gift! Posted: 12:51 pm on January 13th
