For now I have filled my tank with some of my mercury glass.  The tiaras are part of a collection I started this past year (all from thrift stores!).
I love how this tank fits right in to my home decor which has a lot of glass and silver.
I have also started a collection of vintage rosaries (all from thrift stores as well!).

Last year Lani did a post featuring her Christmas decorating and I spied a vintage fish tank that she had beautifully incorporated in to her home decor......I have been looking for one ever since and all my searching finally paid off!!!!  I was so excited to find this silver-lined tank at a thrift store over the holidays while out thrifting with my mom and dad.

Thanks for the inspiration Lani!  And thanks for thrifting with me mom and dad!!!

Whoever thought a fish tank could look so elegant?
It is beautiful. The mercury glass is the perfect
pieces for it. I'm going to have to find me a fish
tank. I have old prisms that I think would look good
also. Thanks for your beautiful display! Posted: 11:54 pm on January 13th

upyourattic writes: Very, very Nice! I love love love the tiara's and plan on collecting them whenever I have a granddaughter (so far, 3 grandsons)! I also really really love the rosaries - the beading on them is always sooooo pretty. I have gotten a few at the thrift shop, also. I just feel like they don't belong there so I bring them home and just stick in a drawer - I'm going now to get them out and hang them up somewhere!
Love it!
