The long and the short of it...
I bought a box full of misc. wooden legs for a couple of dollars at a yard sale a couple of months ago, and today, I thought they might make a cute angel or two. Two green faucet nobs are the wings and another one seemed perfect for her halo. Her heart of gold is actually copper flashing that I cut into a heart and nailed on with tiny copper nails. She is sealed with varithane and ready to go outside!
Big sister angel  is made of one of the longer legs and her wings are made of some metal thing-a-majig I found in my shop. She also has a copper heart and faucet halo. She is fastened to a wooden base temporarily, but will go out on my fence eventually.

I was feeling kinda down because vacation is over and it's back to work tomorrow, so I did what I always do when I'm feeling that way - I head out to my workshop. This box of wooden table legs has been sitting on a shelf for months now, and today they decided to become angels for my garden!
