This is the first sitting area as you enter our porch.  I have added 2 rocking chairs and pillows.  One pillow is made from a pecan bag!  The old wood chippy bench was found at a yard sale in this wonderful green color!
Sitting area #2.  I believe I posted a picture of the first chair found in the lake...this is its friend, also found floating in the lake.  Complete with outdoor pillow.  I just wonder why they floated?
Swing and trunk turned coffee table facing my floating chairs.  I placed a orchard crate on top and filled it with magazines.  A great place for sitting and reading and napping and watching the kids play in the yard and napping.  Did I mention napping?

JACKSON4 writes: Did I reinforce the inside of the trunk...ummmm...no. That had not occured to me, but it may have been a good idea ;) ! I purchased the legs at a furniture shop. I could have bought them cheaper at Lowes. Then I used square metal thingies that are sold in the same dept. at Lowes. 4 metal screws and done. Good Luck! Posted: 10:32 pm on January 16th
Junkyard_Ballerina writes: I love that trunk! (and the whole scene!) Did you have to reinforce the inside of the trunk to support the legs? I have an old trunk that would work. You've inspired me - to take a NAP, before adding legs to my trunk. Posted: 12:39 pm on January 14th
