Love the lettering on old box, the box also had big, huge sunflowers from the side of the road, which made the red level pop
old rusty letter holder bent down in the front to hold picture, the little bottle had a single sunflower, Robinson Crusoe seemed like the perfect summer read.
The basket and old, brass vase were overflowing with sunflowers, too!
partial mirror behind old frame, huge wasp next and cool picture that fell from the Robinson Crusoe book.
Just thought Id add this pic of some of things we had to offer at our sale.

One day at the beginning of summer my sister said," Lezlee, decorate my mantle," Well, we weren't dressed or in the mood to go to Dallas, an hour away, and we didn't want to spend any money, so went next door to my mom's old shack, I don't even know how old it is, because when I was a little girl it was ancient, but at one time, in the 70's it was my Mom's Smidgen Shop, so named because she had a smidgen of this and a Smidgen of that for sale. Anyway we didn't stay in there, but about ten minutes, being there is no electricity, and did I mention it was summer in Texas, East Texas that is, where saying it is humid, is just being understated. Anyway, I just grabbed this and that, cleaned it all up, and stuck it up there with lots of Highway Sunflowers, that are so abundant and free, but I didn't take a picture after we picked the flowers, for some reason, but I know y'all want have any trouble picturing them.  It turned out great, for completely free, and if she didn't like it, all we had lost was a little sweat, and I some people pay to go somewhere and sweat.  Thanks, Lezlee

I found 2 books at the thrift store, a golden book of 101 dalmations, and one that has a little girl praying. It has my colors, sage, burgundy red, so I will hunt down some colorful buttons and hang this on a doorknob. Thanks for the idea. Annie Posted: 7:21 pm on March 11th
