You're So Transparent!

I got the idea for this from a similar item I saw in a store, except it was in a picture frame. I wanted mine to be transparent, so I photocopied an old postcard onto a sheet of acetate, then I put the same sheet back in the copier and copied a botanical print from an out-of-copyright magazine. I then sandwiched the acetate between two pieces of glass from old picture frames and put it all together with copper tape.

And yes, when you go to buy something like this, it IS expensive. Posted: 5:49 pm on January 19th

CleverThinker writes: This looks great! It would be fun to make about a dozen of these and install them into a folding screen made of 2"x 2" could separate a dining area from a living room with a see thru screen....or maybe make a fireplace screen...or a short divider that could sit on a sofa table. I like that it can create a sense of privacy, stopping the eye in some spots, but letting you see thru in others. Great idea! Posted: 2:10 pm on December 30th
