Junk Centerpiece-started with a wire canning rack elevated with a metal pedestal candle holder, added a wide-mouth canning jar with candle and a gathering of junky goodness.  I am thrilled with how this turned out!  Thanks to JMS and the inspiration it has been to get the creative juices flowing.
Found items- bowl fillers, galvanized strainer of sorts.

Love how the colors & textures meld together. Vintage bike horn (still works-from grandma too), dominoes with rusty bells in bottom of canning jar and an old wood croquet ball.

Vintage cookie cutter (from my hubbys late grandma) surrounded by more rusty bells, vintage ornaments and a berry garland.

I think the use of some of your family's heirlooms makes it even more precious. I sure hope I can remember this idea, so I can try my luck at doing a similar piece someday. I can only guess how many "oooh and aahs" you got, when others came in and saw it sitting there. VERY nice!!!! gailmarie Posted: 7:21 pm on December 29th
