After taking this photo I had to laugh because as I took stock of what is on the shelves I realized that every item (except the wood bird) came from a yard sale or thrift store!
The icicles are actually plastic but it is hard to tell since they are high up.
I bought a set of wood farm buildings.Probably from the 70s or 80s you were supposed to paint them.Hah.I painted them all right but then went to town with the glitter.We have a few more to do but...
We actually put those battery operated tea lights inside for a warm glow.

Our family room is done in aqua, orange and browns.  It really was easy to swap out a few things on the bookshelves to keep my color scheme but decorate for the holiday as well.This is WHY I pick up box after box of Xmas balls at yard sales.You never know when they might come in handy.
