This was an idea I got from a womens event at church...and it really embodies the reason for the season at my house.  They are called Attribute Ornaments.  I turned 25 gift tags into ornaments and wrote an attribute of Jesus on each one.  We add one to the wreath each day of December until Christmas along with a Bible verse that corresponds.
Got milk...glass?  I saw this in a magazine many years ago...I just love how the milk glass looks with the soft glow of a candle inside.  And as you know these vases are cheap, cheap, cheap at garage sales and thrift stores.
I had so much fun making ornaments for my very own tree this year...the kids get to do their thing with the family room tree...
As you can see...this tree needs a little work...better get busy on more ornaments for next year :)

Well, decorating done, gifts bought, food planned...now it's time to sit back and enjoy this wonderful holiday.  I just wanted to wish all my creative friends here at JMS the Merriest Christmas and a joy filled New Year.  Thank you all for a year full of inspiration and words of encouragement in 2009.  I'm so glad I finally got the courage to join in on the fun.  Can't wait to see at the great junk in-store for 2010!

Wishing you a Merry Christmas too!
