Glad you dont have to push this to watch TV, I dont think wed ever know whats going on in the world! ha!
Didnt have time for a before picture due to the time constraints for getting this done. It was U G L Y/rusty and full of cob webs. With a little paint to stop the rust and a fresh coat of the ever infamous black paint, it cleaned up quite well. My sweet hubby added a top by staining some oak (i LOVE the look of stained oak) to match my fireplace mantel. Loved how he incorporated a little shelf to hold the dvd player/satellite receiver.

No more sewing, it's time to watch a little TV!! Found this at a famous flea market(yeah for Canton, Tx) and it was exactly what I was looking for. No, not really the base of an old sewing machine, but something unique enough to fit my personality. It really opens up the wall in my small LR and adds unique character I was after.  My cute little dad was wondering why I didn't just go down to Walmart and get one... 'that's just too easy, dad!' (i love my pop  : ) )
