These brushes have a metal ring and them some kind of syntheticy -plasticy -wire brushes. Kind of looks like a hula skirt! It measure almost 3 feet across!
This is it without any embellishment. It will look great in the spring with some ivy and maybe a birdhouse or nest, in the summer with sunflowers, and then the fall with leaves and berries!
I just added some red berry garland and a poinsetta. Its SO large that it really doesnt need any more than that.
Here it is from a distance. I have never seen anything like it so Im pretty thrilled to have it!! I told him to go back and get me all he can find! :)

My son's in-laws have walnut and almond orchards and apparently these huge brushes are used to sweep the nuts on the ground out of the way so that the farm equiptment doesn't drive over and destroy them. Who knew??! These are worn out and were on the junk pile and bless his heart, he KNEW I would love them! Just in time to become a giant Christmas wreath for the front of the house! ya gotta love it!!

I’ve never heard of a nut sweeper and looking at those bristles I’m kinda glad I never did.
Marie, you couldn’t have come up with a better use for one of these gigantic brushes. It makes one of the most unique wreaths I’ve ever seen…great color.
