I Love Christmas

The small cloche is made up from a thrift store find. The key on it is even heart shaped. The little white car inside it, my husband was going to throw out. He said it was junk. Needless to say hes learning to ask now before he gets rid of anything. The old ornaments are in old ice cream bowls.
I found the old suitcase at a fleamarket that we were selling at and just love it. The cups are thrift store finds with the bottle brush trees. Have to try Gretchens project for dying them next year.
These are just a few of my husbands toys that I put to work during the holidays. Always loved Sues remark about her scales. Well these toys have the easy life of sitting down stairs all year, so they get to work during the holidays.
A few icicle boxes that Ive collected. The shelf I got at Junk fest this last September and added the door latches that I had laying around forever.
I too love scales. So many things you can do with them.

Going to get some pix of my tinsel box display to post - don't you just love all the old graphics with no mention of a store name or a celebrity?!! That's why I love vintage!

Thanks for sharing!

NDJunkGirl writes: Lovin' all your Christmas treasures! It is the most wonderful time of the year! I love your cloche, the old ornaments and in the last picture...everything! I've got a little red chair like that which belonged to my mother-in-law. Her old doll and the chair sit under our tree every year. Have a great Christmas! Andrea Posted: 11:32 pm on December 19th
