Announcing "The Best of 2009". With Christmas Quickies...Instead of Cookies
December 22nd, 2009 in blog, projectsThe countdown is on, so I thought I would show you how I pull a rabbit out of the hat when I am under the gun. I also want to let you know, that as we speak, I am on a sailboat in the British Virgin Islands and will be unable to comment on your posts as much as I would like, if at all. You all know me well enough to know that I will try to the best of my connectivity. I want to wish all of you the happiest of holidays and thank you for all of your amazing contributions and inspirations throughout this past year. This website could and would not survive without your talent and willingness to share. YOU ARE ALL AMAZING!! The new website started just over a year ago with no members and look how we have grown. It always brings a smile to my face when I see a new member hit the boards and when all of you who have been here forever share a new project. While I am gone we are featuring "The Best of 2009" from members and contributors. Although we can only touch on a few of the amazing projects that have popped up on these boards during the past year, I want you all to know that your contributions have inspired all here at JMS. I hope you enjoy the stroll back in time and I look forward to a 2010 filled with awesome junk with you, my junking buddies. Here's to all of you...Cheers! Happy Holidays to you and yours.
Be Well and I will see you in 2010!
Big Hugs,
Sue
After you make it, show it off to other members in the Member Junk area.

You continually cease to amaze me with your creativity, quirky and fun sense of humor and all of your great projects you share with us all. I'm hoping your British Virgin Island vacation is fabulous, restful and stress reducing for you. You surely deserved it, so thank your sweet brother for all of us for the opportunity your having, from all of us that you so freely give to all year long. I hope you and Elizabeth come back refreshed and renewed and with a gorgeous tan of course. We're enjoying our getaway to Florida too, and looks like we both got out of Dodge just in the nick of time from the bad storm hitting the Midwest over the Holidays.
Again, thank you Sue. Love this project and all of the cool ideas you've presented.

Thank you Sue for this wonderful site and all the inspiration you've given us. Also, thanks to all the other members who contribute the wonderful ideas that now have my hard drive begging for more space! (A JMS feature that allows us to bookmark or save our favorite posts would be lovely)
A very Merry Christmas to you, Sue and everyone else on JMS! I'm looking forward to more inspiration in 2010.
Enjoy your holiday vacation in the tropics, Sue! It sounds wonderful. I'd take a holiday like that over the messy white stuff anytime! :-) Posted: 10:05 pm on December 22nd

Second, I appreciate all you do to keep everything going at JMS...lots to do "behind the scenes"! Also, the members here are the best - the most generous, creative, and fun group of people - and I'm proud to be a part of it all!!!
I'm so excited to see what 2010 brings for JMS, and I'm sure we'll be greeting even more new members than ever!!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year my friend, and enjoy your well-deserved rest (and lots of warm sunshine...a little jealous up here in Ohio...)!
See you next year!
Kathy

P.S. I could kick myself right now for passing on one of those coin holders. The price was too high for me (being out of work), but after seeing what you did with yours, I should of just bought it anyway!!! VERY cool holiday piece.
LOVE the tube... I envy the hostess that get's it. Feel free to give her my email address if she ever gets tired of it (yeah, like THAT'S going to happen)!!! :o) Posted: 10:03 am on December 22nd
