I love this piece - great tarnished detail - and a little bit of pink sits atop it quite nicely, dont ya think?
Ive got so many vintage Christmas bulbs - they show up just about anywhere...
And my little pink tree in all its bejeweled finery!
I just love this little angel - she has a twin sister dressed in pink too!
Cute little satin slippers - every girl needs a pair!!
Jewels and a little card thats been glittered.

I love this piece - great "tarnished" detail - and a little bit of "pink" sits atop it quite nicely, don't ya think?

In my tv/sewing/reading/dressing room - there's definitely a bit of a "girly" look...  And, at Christmastime, I just add a "little" more pink to my surroundings.

I put the tree up a year ago, and haven't taken it down.  It's dripping in vintage jewelry (necklaces, earrings, pins), and other assorted things that I add when I "find" something new...  (Hopefully it doesn't fall over one of these days because I've put too much on it! - But, what a great place to "shop" when I need a little something for a project - ha ha!)

I got the chandelier from my sister-in-law's house (it was out in the garage waiting for her next garage sale) - I'm so glad I found it first!  It is one of my favorite things.  And a little holiday is easy to add...tie on a few bulbs - poof - done! :)

The silver pitcher was another great garage sale find - it sits on a wonderful shelf that my hubby and I just hung up last week (will share that project in an upcoming post).  It is definitely another of my favorite things!!!

Wishing you all of your favorite things this Christmas season!

Kathy

plumandnearly writes: Love this tree! I have the same tree (in my bathroom) but decorated with glass ornaments depicting flowers and garden tools. I leave this tree up year-round just because I like looking at it. I think, after seeing yours, that I'll add some of my old jewelry for more sparkle. Posted: 2:07 pm on October 27th

chippingcharm writes: Lovely like always Kathy...love that tree! I have a "bit" of a collection of vintage bobbles too. I have been decorating my very own tree (the kiddos have "dibs" on the family room tree :)) in my living room this year. It's been fun to shop in my stash and make things and repurpose treasures to hang. I think I have the "sisters" to your adorable little vintage angels...mine have feather tree skirts but the same little sweet faces :) Merry Christmas, Laurel Posted: 11:06 am on December 20th

shabbychick writes: Thanks everybody! I love the pink in this room too - and silver and pink - a perfect combination! The tree is fun, and just an inspiring little corner of the room. My girlfriends love it too!

It is definitely a bit girlie (tiny flowers on the wall), but when we moved into our home, this room had been the daughter's room, and it worked SO well for me - I didn't want to change it. Just added a new border (it had been little bunnies).

Sharon - Go Buckeyes...Rose Bowl bound!! :)

Cocalotta - thanks for your nice comments too!

Merry Christmas!

Kathy

FYI - I got the pink tree at Hobby Lobby...

The PINK caught my eye and that was only the beginning after looking at your pictures! I love the idea of keeping the tree up all year...just displaying beautiful vintage jewelry, etc. Then adding the antique silver pieces and extra pink for Christmas is beautiful. You've given me a couple of ideas for decorating my home...accents being pink.
Thank You for sharing and I'll continue to watch for your beautiful artwork. Merry Christmas. Posted: 5:52 pm on December 19th
