Save the worms!  Feed the birds!
I made a small sack out of scrap fabric and filled it with bird seed.

Bird feeder ready for delivery!

I bought some old table legs in early November and painted them.  I had no idea what I would use them for, except I knew they would be for something outside in the garden. Then, while at a flea market in North Carolina I saw a box of bird feeders made out of tea cups glued to dowels.  That's when I knew what I would use my table legs for!  I bought a cup and saucer at Goodwill, and went to the hardware store for a piece of steel rod to go into the ground.  Here in Louisiana, wood doesn't have much of a chance if put into the ground.  It is MUCH too wet for wood to survive!

Today I am bringing this to a Christmas party where we are having a charity auction.  We are all bringing gifts to auction off a the party.  The money will go to an agreed upon charity.  Gee....I hope someone likes this thing!
