A coat of black spray paint gave these easels a new life.  Adding a word to a silver plate is soo easy---try a rub-on or paint stencil.

I found a bag full of easels at the thrift store and knew right away that they would be perfect to display Christmas themed word plates.

CottageElements writes: Janis, your wonderful posts have really have made me look at silver in a whole new light, and vinyl lettering. My son even called me one day from school in Fargo. He was at Hobby Lobby and wandered if I wanted some vinyl lettering that was half off. He's even catching on! Great job, girlfriend. And thanks for a wonderful year of inspiration! Here's to another in 2010!
