My "Out of the box" wreath

I wanted a wreath that would  be out of the box and a little different.  I started with a piece of garden fence.  It was cut down to only the scalloped part.  It was then formed into a circle and the fence post parts were pushed down (they were sharp).  This made for a almost circle looking form.  A old metal dust pan had two holes drilled at the top for wiring to the wreath form.  The dust pan was first filled with moss, then pine or greens.  I added an artificial spray piece.  I also added a antique picture of a boy with his skis.  The last part was using hot glue to add a faux birds nest and bird.  I added the words Merry Christmas on the dust pan.  I really like how it turned out!  You can check out my blog for other inspirational, fun ideas!

NDJunkGirl writes: This is really a neat idea! I adore the picture of the boy on skis tucked in - I think that pulls it all together for a perfect "wintery" looking wreath that can stay up all season long. Andrea Posted: 9:27 pm on December 7th
