Framing up a Favorite Item

Here’s a piece I created framing up an “everyday” object with a different twist.

Frames shouldn’t be taken so literally (or seriously!) … I framed up this fabulous vintage paint brush using a wonderful old chair seat bottom.
The background is old galvanized with a cool ribbed pattern – I thought it worked perfectly with the strokes of the paintbrush. The red tones in both pull it all together
Heres an overall shot.
...and a shot of the back.
