Pink, Turquoise, and Cream dominate this Christmas window...with a lot of sparkle for Hoiliday fun!
Another view of my window.
A beautiful old pitcher and bowl from an Estate Sale adds just the romantic touch to tone down the gaudy pink trees.
This is part of the same window area with the "Tree" I made out of an old metal candle stand on top of a turqoise dresser, topped by a vintage spinnng star.
Closer look at the candle stand tree with hand made ornaments that JK, Melissa, Stacy and I had a ball making. Little clear balls with various junk inside.... beads, springs, bingo markers, keys, thimbles, etc.
This section has a white tree with vintage decorations, a couple of old wooden sleds and misc festive stuff.
Here in a more neutral palette, we combined an old brass bed with a mantle I made out of a piece of an Art Deco period gazebo. With an architctural piece, old clock parts, a wooden seasonal sign, and greenery it is understated and elegant.
I have two of these beautiful crocheted wall hangings from Hungary that have gorgeous reglious paintings centered on either side. They have great old brass rods that they hang from..simply beautiful!
This picture shows the other hanging that is separating the front entrance from the window display.
This is a chandelier I remade with large crystal rods for some sparkle in the foyer.

Well, it is starting to look a lot like Christmas here in California..no snow of course but inside it looks festive. This is my first of two Christmas displays as I will be having another sale on Dec. 19th. This time we did several little vignetts with pink Christmas trees, my bicycyle wheel lamp all dressed up, a tree made from a candle stand and many vintage items.

1 Window was done with pink lights, boxes, and decorations, and had a white tree.
Window across from it was done with blue. Had the white tree, blue lights, blue cloths, etc.
The 3rd window..facing street directly was done with the traditional red & green.
All 3 windows had the white trees in them with lights, I had my wooden candle holders from home with Candles showing on them, and some of the holders had some flicker candles on them for the night viewing before the timer shut the display windows down for the night. Ohhh...was so much fun & I had so many compliments...wasn't the usual traditional, but just a lil different.
Now...have to find them pictures...which disc/folder are they stored in? LOL!
Thank you for sharing, and reminding me the fun, joy, and thrill of the christmas season! Job well done!!
