A Junky Wedding Reception

I designed the poster with photos from the wedding, had them printed, and sent them to people that went to Mexico with us. I found the guest book at a junk show, at one time it was a photo album, looking to be from the 70s. I love the black pages, had the guests sign with a white gel pen. I painted the silver platter with chalkboard paint. My mom made the quilt.
Used an old metal tray to hold these wonderful heart-shaped birdseed ornaments I found on Etsy (2birdsinlove).
$2 old chippy frame I used to hold my sign for the ornaments.
The goodies table. Used a birdcage for the envelope gifts, rusty random items for decoration, my favorite of the metals—copper, for a succulent.
And the best repurpose, my wedding dress! I got to wear it twice, only this time in cowboy boots! Cute niece.

In September I got married in Mexico to a great guy who completely supports my junkin habit! SCORE! So in October we had a big "Reception back home" at a place called the Cactus Ranch in New Braunfels, TX. Not sure if this is a true "project" but I thought I would share the junky repurposes that I used anyway. Enjoy!
