I just love a bargain.  I found these two chairs at a 50% off sale at Habitat Restore.
I loved the size, shape and scale but not the color.
So...I painted them a glossy black to sit beside a table that used to be my Grandmothers.

I received a very special heirloom that used to be my Grandmothers.  It had belonged to my great grandmother before that.  So, needless to say it was a very special piece.  I have it displayed in my front bay window but had not found anything worthy enough to place next to it, until now.  I thought these woud be perfect with a little TLC.

I remember being told in one of my design classes that every room needs something black in it. Your grouping of the chairs and table meets the requirement and looks great.
