Hallway hat and coat rack
October 23rd, 2009 in member junkThis one was total whimsey. My wife and I found this remnant of an old Rube Goldberg sort of farm drag made out of oak with drag tines made out of old railroad spikes. Dark brown Briwax gave it the patina it needed. Now the tines serve as hat, coat, and "whatever" hooks. We drape it with bittersweet in the fall and holly or tin angels on wire for Christmas. The fishing creel is one I made out of birch bark. I made a birch clothes hanger for a companion piece.
