Recycled Garden -- fence and all
October 21st, 2009 in member junkWe were trying to figure out a rustic county fence for our cabin -one that didn't look too nachine-made. We found a neighbor selling 8-foot locust wood pieces -- very rustic and very hardy in the elements. So we criss-crossed the wood to make a fence. It's very sturdy because the weight of the logs holds the pieces together. At the entrance, we added a rust wreath inspired by a previous JunkMarketStyle post. I found the metal "S" -- for our last name -- at a garage sale along with old tools, tiny buckets and other fun metal pieces. We sprayed some with Rustoleum primer, as you suggested, and added vintage chain for bling. Rocky, our antique-and-crafting golden retriever, seems to approve.
