Fur coat teddy bear.
Chenille bedspread teddy bear. Notice the cute baby scale its sitting on.
Faux fur teddy bear. My daughter wore this coat for awhile before I cut it up. I re-used the original toggle fasteners.
Quilt teddy bear.
Fur coat teddy bear.

Fur coat teddy bear.

I make teddy bears from old coats, quilts and bedspreads. I've had quite a few requests to make the bears for people from their grandma's fur coat.

RustyDiva writes: Love this idea ~ they are all beautiful! How cool would that be to have a real fur coat bear! My conscious would go with that idea way better than wearing one. Great job!! Posted: 10:29 am on October 20th

I don't name the teddy bears (even the ones I keep for myself). I'd get too attached to them and have to keep them all and then I'd need more space to display them and then I'd need an extra room in the house and then I'd need a bigger house and then ......... (all you junkers out there understand right?) Besides, you can't name your children and then sell them ha ha......

monakent writes: LOVE these teddy bears!!! Each one has their own personality. Judging by how cute these are, I can only guess how many you sell. Beary, beary cute!!! Do you name each one? gailmarie Posted: 4:36 pm on October 18th
oldnews writes: Adorable! I also make something similar, only mine are called "Memory Elephants". I Chose them because I collect them, but also because of the idea that an elephant never forgets! Your bears are absolutely beautiful, and because I KNOW how much work is involved in them, whatever you charge for them is NOT enough!! Thanks for sharing with us! Posted: 3:27 pm on October 18th
