to cool for school
I sold another time card holder displayed with cards, recipes, photos
old keyboard letters with magnets on back ...I love that it is magnetic, too,
In other words use these words instead...
Just made the cards, but it would be cool to use old time cards, too. Painted the retired keyboard red, since this is the Americana room, but left the holder idustrial.

to cool for school

Old keyboard and time card holder turned into a word wall file... The kids can go grab a card with a commom word on it and replace it with a more discriptive word, think mini thesaurus. Also would be good for vocabulary words with definitions, job charts, ect.  When I bought them for a dollar at goodwill, someone in line wanted to know what I was going to do with them.  I told her I wasn't sure, but they were just too cool. We have two classrooms. This one is Texas and Americana.  We use antiques, repurposed junk, and kids pictures to decorate...to me it teaches a real life way to save money, recycle and make things pretty, plus pesonal.  Thanks, Lezlee

Grasshopper22 writes: What a creative idea...I once had a keyboard that was missing a little, little spring on one of the keys. Well I looked everywhere to replace this spring but to no avail :( I didn't know what to do with the old keyboard so it went to the dump (I know what a shame)Your idea is very clever...Thank-you for sharing. It would be good to label the computer center,an upwards gameboard and letters would make great signs, too; it is just endless with possibilities. Posted: 9:43 pm on November 16th
