Ready for 3rd Gear?

Start with a foundation of uber-cool gear-like auto parts.
Using a lighting kit, add a rod and a few more gear-like bits & bobs (not the technical terminology). Add some shine and shimmer with a glass hurricane surround.
Put the cherry on top with a gorgeous lamp shade. Voila!
The ambience? Exquisite!!

A third masterpiece of a lamp made by my junking hubby from rescued auto parts. The first one has a home in our entry. The second was a gift to his gear-head buddy. This one? Sold at the Prize show last weekend. Can't wait to see his next one!

Junk_Sophisticate writes: Amy - Ron did a fantastic job on this lamp. I think it is so cool how everything fit together so perfectly as if it were meant to be! I'll admitI would have never thought of using a hurricane for anything other than a candle holder.
Nice work and happy to hear of the sale!
