First thing I did was stencil numbers on all 60 compartments and the keys, then made labels for each so that I can tell at a glance what is in each one. All my fabric is color sorted, beads, yarn, paper, paint, wool, it all has it's own place! There is also storage on top for even MORE stuff! (All 60 compartments are full!)
She stands right at the door, sort of a one woman welcome committee!
I have a murphy bed tucked away for my kids when they come home to visit. However, even it's doors are used for storage. Each pocket holds items I use most frequently.
This is home to 3 of my most used sewing machines - My felting machine, quilting machine and embroidery machine.
I LOVE this space, and have to have a comfy place to relax and watch TV, read, whatever! Especially since my husband discovered the 24 hr. a day Major league baseball channel... :) The purple door in the background is the bathroom! Ahh, all the comforts of home...Wish I could show you more, but I'm out of room!!

I worked most of my fall break reorganizing my craft room. I found these GREAT used lockers on line that have 10 lockers per column, so I have 60 in all! Now everything has a place! Well, almost everything...

WOW! This is the most organized workroom room I’ve ever seen. The lockers are amazing. You should see what a mess my workshop looks like.

I keep looking at your pictures over and over, trying to figure out how to get my work area to look like yours. I realize I could get the look I want (that you have), but only in my dreams!!! (haha)
This is by far the best studio space I have ever seen. Your hard work obviously paid off. BTW, I adore your mannequin in her finery. VERY artsy-fartsy!!! gailmarie

And, second...you get an A++++++++++++++ for your organizing dream of a workroom - WOW! The lockers are simply amazing - oh how I would love some of those! And, from the looks of your many machines...you ARE a sewing machine. Your seat cover on your chair (with your name) is super cute. What a fun and very happy place!!! (and yes, thank goodness for sports channels!)
It looks like such an inspiring and relaxing place for you! Thanks for letting us take a peek!
