Items used - vintage: 1964 Fisher-Price Pull-A-Tune pull toy, Viewmaster, wooden blocks, wooden building blocks and pcs; misc metal pcs, nails, washers, screws, nuts and bolts
Because this pc is on the large size, and my background wall isnt large enough, I wasnt able to get the feet in with the whole pc when I took his picture. Here are his little tootsies, which I think pulls out the orange color off the xylophone quite nicely.

The backside of this little guy shows how I put him together. I loved the head being tilted - kind of like a little kid...

(Youll also notice he has eyes in the back of his head.... the better to SEE you with, my dear....).
Again, this is the back of the piece. I took off one of the pair of little red wheels, but left this set on. No reason, I just liked the little guys!!!
One of the artists at the gallery I show my work at, was going to bring in some vintage Viewmaster slides, so I could add it into his head, but alas, it sold before she brought her slides in. Good for me, too bad for the person that bought the pc.

Each piece I make is named and signed. The name that I post the pieces under on this site, is the name of the piece (does that make sense???). Like this one for example: it's name is "Kid At Heart" because of all the vintage toys I used (plus, it describes me too!!!).

I appreciate your kind words and the fact that I can post my creations on this site. Mooch-O Grass-E-Us!!! gailmarie Posted: 10:33 pm on October 13th

Hey, I want you to have the Coleman parts. I could never do anything with them as fun and inspiring as your art. E-mail me if you're interested and I'll get your address. No pressure if you don't want em either:)
