turned one of the lamps upside down and took all electric wires out...then put the candle piece on the bottom ... added drawer pull from another project...the top is an old light fixture..could be used for most anything...cant wait until Christmas...to make centerpiece!..
$3.00 bought these at an auction..was a three light hanging light...

shabbychick writes: grannijo, Love your version!! You did a great job repurposing your light fixture (and great price too!) - it's too funny, but I have a light fixture sitting on my workbench waiting for the perfect piece to top it off (it's brass and really needs to be painted) - the inspiration just keeps going round and round!! :)

I love when people think upside down...it usually works for me. I adore this project. Great work and I'll be on the look out for when you do this up all Christmas like. I suspect it will be a stunner! Thanks for sharing.

Be Well,

Junk_Sophisticate writes: Are those glass knobs as feet? Brilliant! Way to think all upside down-like, Sharon. I am impressed.

junkermidge writes: Oh, Sharon -- Your serving dish is awesome! You had a good eye to see that it just needed a little flipping around. That will work with anything you might serve. I'm betting the world's going to see a lot more "junk" holiday tables thanks to you, Kathy, and many other creative junkers.
