I am beyond excited! I opened up my very first booth in the local antique mall yesterday! Thanks so much to all of you inspiring folks, I couldnt have done it with out yall!
This is the very first piece of furniture I ever painted, just finished it this week. It was originally an ugly black flea-market find...just added some white paint, a Ralph Lauren tea glaze and glass knobs...ugly no more!
I found this sweet little chair at a church rummage sale this week for $5! Its super sturdy and heavy!
Circa 1910 white painted wicker baby crib. Love this piece!

Look, y'all! IT'S MY BOOTH!!! I'm so excited! The big day arrived with a minimum of drama and angst....My booth opened today at the Antique Mall! It was less than 2 months ago that I began blogging about my dream of opening up my very first booth, and here I am! I have to say, I really am quite thrilled with how it all turned out. It's not perfect, but I'm proud and grateful for all the help and support I've received from my family and friends.....that's YOU!

HollyesHobbye writes: I got started by hitting up an unbelievable sale in a junky rusted out singe-wide trailer with rusty BBQs outside. My husband saw the sign and I said, "no way". He told me he often finds the best stuff inside a junky exterior and not to judge. Well, that was a life changer. I walked out with signed pottery, Johnson Bros China and much more for under $20! On the way into town we stopped at an antique mall in Tenino, Wa we had previously visited and rented a space. Had I known what an addiction it was, I'd have bought out the trailor!
I've been doing this for about 5 years now and have branched out to flee markets at the beach once a month. My name is Hollye and I am an addict. Is there a 12 step program for this? If I could afford it, I'd SO quit my job and live to buy and sell treasures!
Have fun in your new mall, but be IS addicting and a life long love! Posted: 9:22 pm on January 24th

Your booth looks absolutely fabulous..........I am salivating!! Your paint jobs are spectacular, and you have put everything together so beautifully. It must be so hard, though, to put up your wonderful finds for sale. I don't know about that chair and baby crib, especially, I know I would definitely be KEEPING them for myself!!!
Happy day!
