Garden Fairy

I found this rusted fairy and fell immediately in love. I placed a golden glass ball in her hands (seemed appropriate) and mounted her to the top of an iron gate which I attactched to (with a hubby's help) a fence we constructed out of cedar posts which borders my rose garden. Her wings remind me of the butterflies which visit my garden and feast with gusto upon the delicacies I provide.

zazzyzee writes: I live on 12 acres and believe me when I say I DO try to fill this space with funky "stuff" full of fantasy and fun. I have had a bottle tree for years using a "very dead" curly willow tree. Now, I understand people are putting iron bottle trees everywhere. Garden centers are carrying various styles. I guess when my tree finally falls over, I will be tempted to get a manufactured one, but now that I have a brown thumb, instead of a green one, I am sure I will have another "dead" piece of art of decorate! I will post a picture as some of you "junkin' gals" may want to make your own bottle tree! Posted: 7:43 pm on September 12th
